Vicki Wright is coming up on 17 years with Adams & Petersen CPAs—and while she never imagined herself in a world of spreadsheets and tax returns, it turns out this people-loving, puzzle-solving wordsmith fits in just fine among the accountants. In fact, she’s essential. As the Front Office Team Lead, Vicki keeps everything humming—answering client questions, solving problems on the fly, talking someone off the occasional ledge—just making sure everyone feels taken care of.
She may not be a CPA, but she’s picked up a surprising amount of tax knowledge along the way (just don’t ask her to do your taxes). What really sets her apart is her gift for connection—making friends with clients and greeting them by name. She’s also the mastermind behind Zoom staff meeting icebreakers, firm parties, and other behind-the-scenes magic that keeps the office running smoothly and smiling.
Vicki always dreamed of being a writer—and while her bestsellers may still be in the works, she shares her creative spark by writing poems that rhyme, baking cookies sublime, dreaming of travel some time (you get it!). She’s usually got an audiobook playing in one ear, a jigsaw puzzle half-finished on the table, or she’s off to be terrible at Pickleball.
She and her husband Dave love traveling with their family, especially to the misty shores of the Oregon Coast or the spectacular mountains of Banff. Whether she’s coordinating office chaos or planning her next adventure, Vicki does it all with creativity and humor.
