Nate joined APCPAs in September of 2020 where he works with wide variety of the firm’s tax clients. Prior to joining APCPAs, Nate started his career at Tanner LLC in the Salt Lake City area.

Early in college he considered a career as an attorney or anesthesiologist but then something about accounting just clicked! He attended BYU-Idaho and Utah State University but is most proud of becoming a licensed CPA. Nate has seen parts of the world from Kauai to Zimbabwe and loves the scenery you can only find on a golf course. One thing he doesn’t like is paying any more tax than is legally required but what he does like is helping people do the same. He knows that the tax system is complex and loves helping to navigate the white-water rapids for people!
Nate hopes to be part of shifting the industry away from just filing tax returns toward a proactive approach focused on tax planning. As hard as busy seasons are, his favorite part is successfully reaching April 15th with our whole team. It’s very satisfying!
