Staff Accountant
Laura Skirucha is a part of our outstanding assurance team. In a world where you can be an accountant, she finds that the audit accountant is the best kind! She enjoys collaborating with different people across many industries leading to something new every day. Laura finds a special kind of inspiration when the trial balance balances! She attended college at DePaul University in Chicago and fell in love with that vibrant city. While there she interned as the Assistant Controller of the university. A particular accomplishment that sets her apart is that she passed the CPA exam in one sitting. The best piece of advice she’s taken to heart is from Dolly Parton, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose!” Fun fact: Laura plays the piccolo! She is also active in raising awareness about congenital heart defects and in warmer months, you can find her boating at beautiful Flaming Gorge.
