Jeff Robertson, CPA

Audit Manager
Jeff Robertson, CPA, and Audit Manager here at A+P CPAs, lives by some solid advice: “Never stop learning. No matter where you are in life—even if you’re 80—there’s always something new to learn.” He’s all about putting in the effort, asking good questions, and encouraging others on the team to do the same. Watching clients and younger staff grow in their confidence and skills is one of his favorite parts of the job.
Jeff learned the value of hard work early—like, 13-years-old-working-in-his-family’s-construction-business early. It was tough work for a teenager, but it built a strong work ethic that stuck. Fun fact: he actually started college as an engineering major at Weber State University but quickly realized it involved too much math (yes, the irony isn’t lost on him). Once he took his first accounting class, though, he was hooked.
What Jeff really enjoys about his role is the variety—different clients, new challenges, unique questions, and getting to connect with all kinds of people. Earning his CPA license remains one of his proudest professional accomplishments. And because he once worked in a position where he was audited himself, he brings a unique empathy and insight to the process. He knows what it feels like on the other side of the table—and uses that to better serve his clients. Best audit story? Counting cows during an inventory check in Everson, Washington. (Yes, really.)
Outside of work, Jeff’s all about family, fun, and fresh air. He coaches his kids’ competitive soccer teams, plays soccer himself (when he’s not recovering from an injury), and loves spending time outdoors. Golf is his go-to hobby, and his dream getaway is Alaska.
