Halen Strong is one of our terrific accountants. His claim to fame is that he is named after the band Van Halen! Here at A+P he is more likely to go ahead and Jump as a rock star of accounting! Halen is great with clients, a diligent worker and never backs down from a challenge. One of the best pieces of advice he’s received is Choose your pain – the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. Halen lives and breathes this advice in his career as well as his activities after hours. He loves playing sports, boating, working out in the gym and heading to Lake Powell with his wife Aspyn. Halen received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Utah State University, drawn to Logan for no better reason than he didn’t want to go to any other Utah college. Process of elimination and he was an Aggie! After his first accounting class, his career was decided. “I didn’t choose the accountant; the accountant chose me.”-Halen Strong.
