Professional Experience

Matt Taggart, CPA is the Senior Audit Manager here at A+P. He comes to us after traveling the world with the Internal Audit Department of a large global corporation. Not one to sit still, he loves being the driving force in his own career which has led him to learn and grow in all kinds of ways. Matt has managed large and small teams of people and loves finding what makes each one tick, encouraging them to leave that comfort zone behind and drive their own career. He has run 13 full marathons, speaks Spanish, hikes, cycles, and is usually coaching or cheering for one of his kids in soccer or track and field. Matt received both his Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees from Weber State University and has worked in many avenues of the accounting world. Matt’s other passion is providing service when the cause is good. He is especially excited to be part of the Audit department here at our Firm and can’t wait to see how far it can grow!
